# How do I uninstall Mixroadie?

Open Mixroadie and choose Uninstall. Your projects, audio and backups stay where they are.

## Mac

1. Open Mixroadie from Applications.
2. Choose **Uninstall Mixroadie**, then **Uninstall** to confirm.
3. Drag Mixroadie from Applications to the Bin.

No Uninstall link? Your copy of the Mixroadie app is older. In Finder, choose **Go ▸ Go to Folder…**, type `~/.mixroadie/src` and press Return, then double-click **uninstall.command**.

## Windows

1. Open Mixroadie from the Start menu.
2. Choose **Uninstall Mixroadie**, then **Uninstall** to confirm.

You can also use **Settings ▸ Apps**: find Mixroadie and choose **Uninstall**, like any other program. This route deletes the downloaded AI model without asking.

## What it removes

The uninstaller removes Mixroadie’s folder, the panel and its shortcut in REAPER, and every API key Mixroadie stored. Tick **Also delete the downloaded AI models** if you want those gone too. Leave it unticked if you might reinstall, since they are large.

Your projects, your audio and the backups Mixroadie made stay where they are.

## Your licence

Uninstalling doesn’t free the licence’s place on that computer. To move the licence to a new computer, use **Settings ▸ Licence & app ▸ Move to another computer** before you uninstall.
