Mixroadie can't reach REAPER
Keep REAPER open with your project saved, restart REAPER once, then use Check REAPER in the Mixroadie app to test the connection.
Updated
Mixroadie works through REAPER: the plans read the saved project file, and applying, mastering and the mix checks need REAPER running with the song open.
Check these first
- REAPER is open with the song, and the project is saved. A project that was never saved can’t be read.
- REAPER has been restarted since you installed or updated Mixroadie.
- On a Mac, REAPER stays in front while it renders. Mastering and the mix checks render the mix, and REAPER only renders sound while it is the app in front. From the panel that is already the case.
Test the connection
Open the Mixroadie app (on Windows, from the Start menu) and press Check REAPER. It opens REAPER and checks the whole way from Mixroadie to REAPER and back, not just that the files are in place.
Still not working
On the same screen, Show logs opens the folder with Mixroadie’s log files. Write to us, and attach the newest log file.
Still stuck?
Write to us with your computer (Mac or Windows and its version), your REAPER version and what you see. A screenshot helps.
